A WEN YAW

Look how the mountains
Slide from the sky,
And the rain doesn't fall
It floats from up high.
We go somewhere else
Nobody will die,
All can touch a star
You only have to try.
Knowledge is a drink
To quench any thirst,
Fill up the mind
Til it's fit to burst.
Try to be kind
It may be a surprise,
The opportunity to comfort
Might slow your demise.
Respect, forgiveness and equality
Are all a wonderful thing,
Where each of us gets a share
And a Queen can be a King.
All should get some grain
And not just the husk,
Maybe the sun can still shine
Even though it is dusk.
Who knows one day
The sea might be kissed by the sand,
And different culture and creed
Can walk hand in hand.
Because;
At the moment
The world just does the same things,
Acid in the rainfall
And only bullets sing,
Nobody hears the poor call
Only the wealthy phones ring.
Mirrors telling lies
Religions smoking gun,
The innocent and ignorant die
As there's nowhere to run.
Mountains just stand around
And the rain streams down,
Our complicated battleground
We're all going to drown.
Lets reflect on our infection
We need a new way,
A wen yaw is the reflection
We need to start over today.

  1. A true reflection of the sad state of the world today ... but i like the glimmer of hope u offer when we care enough to be humane
