DIAMOND HEAD
Inside my head
there lies a diamond,
A multi faceted,
glittering jewel,
It’s my mind
And just like your
mind,
There lies a story
within.
Each facet tells a
different tale
All exciting and
full of colour,
This lustrous gem
contains
Love, desires,
passion
Memories and
wisdom,
For us to share
with the world
Put the facets
together
They make the
jewel.
Precious to me
Like yours is
precious
To you,
Unique and
beautiful
And our window to
the world
Display it, mount
it
Wear it with pride.
Some may not be
As large or showy
As others,
But they are you,
Your mind is a
solitaire
The diamond in your
head
Display it.

so simply absolutely beautiful. i love this poem in every way possible. i have been having a horrible week. your words have made me realize that i am ok. i just need to believe it again. how do you manage all your beautifully flawed women in your life. you have restored my bruised heart.
