FASHIONABLE PROTEST

Here we go again,
Another misguided cause,
Unwashed, unkempt anarchists
Sharpening their claws.
Peace camps full of hippie types
Squatting under tye dyed tent,
Munching seeds and singing
Their spleen about to vent.
Funny looking dreadlocked white women
Multi coloured clothing in need of a wash,
To the washed up has been celebrity
Spouting a load of tosh.
Nuclear weapons, fracking, to capitalist greed
It's the same faces in the mob,
They maybe thinking they're doing good
But, there's some want to destroy and rob.
So, the anti- establishment morons
Come out every time to play,
To smash up our cities and police lines
If they get in the way.
Wearing their hooded tops and moustache'd masks
They've joined the protest to plunder,
While the hippie types sing peace songs
These thugs will take them under.
There is a chance to speak at the ballot box
Use it as your right and your voice,
Forget the fashion protests
The thugs take away the choice.
In the past the march for freedom and rights
Gave leaders reason to think and pause,
Because, that was the march by every free thinker
Not just the rebels with fashion protest as the cause.
