THE LOVERS OCEAN
Lovers hand in hand
Stroll through
time,
Over Neptune’s land
With echoing notes
Waves stroke the
sand.
Footprints are
washed away,
By playful surf
But, the memories
stay.
The suns asleep
While the moons at
play,
Its translucent
smile
Caressing the bay.
The lovers pause,
To watch the
blinking eye
Of the lonely
lighthouse,
Protecting mariners,
on the seas so high.
Their path of life
Held in Poseidon’s
hand,
As they harvest the
crop
From his fertile
land.
The lovers rest
In moonbeam dripped
cove,
Their passions
heightened
By spirits
interwove.
This enchanted
coastal garden
Acts as their
mystical grove.
With love cemented
In crashing desire,
Her cries of joy
In waves of gushing
fire,
Tidal pull of the
ocean deep,
Spent and sated to
retire.
In each others arms
The lovers watch
the sun yawn,
Calm blue seas
Acclaim Manawydans
dawn.
The lovers through
the oceans blessing,
Their eternal
spirits
Forever sworn.
