    CUT OUT THE MIDDLEMAN

It’s easy to view religious rantings with tedium,

With diatribe very banal, like the claims of a medium.

If virgins in paradise is the goal of the blessed,

Why kill innocent people in which to reach your quest?

I can’t believe any God has that in his master plan,

So find somewhere quiet and cut out the middleman.

I might respect your fervent passion and belief,

The potential victims, they’d feel enormous relief.

Any brainwashed fool can strap on an explosive device,

Like the ancient Aztecs with their human sacrifice.

The burning question should be, if virginal pleasure and spiritual wealth,

Are so very attractive, then why don’t the Imams do it themselves?
